Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the YouToMe platform (“the Platform”), accessible at youtome.biz. By registering an account or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Definitions

  • Platform — the YouToMe web application at youtome.biz and all associated services.
  • User — any natural or legal person who registers an account on the Platform.
  • Buyer — a User who posts orders seeking products or services.
  • Supplier — a User who creates a company profile and submits proposals or lists products.
  • Order — a request posted by a Buyer describing the products or services they need.
  • Proposal — a response submitted by a Supplier to a Buyer’s Order.
  • Contract — an agreement created between a Buyer and Supplier through the Platform’s contract system.

2. Eligibility

The Platform is intended for business use. By registering, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age.
  • You have the legal authority to enter into binding agreements.
  • If acting on behalf of a company, you are authorised to bind that company to these Terms.

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • Phone verification is required to access certain features (posting orders, submitting proposals, creating a supplier profile).
  • You must not create multiple accounts or share your account with others.

4. Platform Services

YouToMe provides the following services:

  • Order posting: Buyers can post orders describing their needs.
  • Proposal system: Suppliers can submit proposals to Buyer orders.
  • Chat system: Real-time messaging between Buyers and Suppliers.
  • Contract management: Structured agreements with acceptance, closing, and review workflows.
  • Product listings: Suppliers can list products with pricing and details.
  • Product orders: Buyers can order products directly from Supplier listings.
  • Review system: Buyers can rate and review Suppliers after contract completion.

5. User Obligations

All Users agree to:

  • Use the Platform lawfully and in accordance with these Terms.
  • Provide accurate information in profiles, orders, proposals, and products.
  • Not engage in fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive conduct.
  • Not upload malicious content, spam, or unsolicited advertising.
  • Not attempt to access other Users’ accounts or interfere with Platform security.
  • Respect the intellectual property rights of other Users and third parties.

6. Content and Intellectual Property

  • Users retain ownership of the content they submit (descriptions, images, messages).
  • By submitting content, you grant YouToMe a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to display, store, and transmit that content as necessary to operate the Platform.
  • YouToMe retains all rights to the Platform’s design, code, trademarks, and branding.

7. Contracts Between Users

  • Contracts created through the Platform are agreements between Buyers and Suppliers. YouToMe is not a party to these contracts.
  • YouToMe facilitates contract creation, acceptance, and closing but does not guarantee performance by either party.
  • Users are responsible for fulfilling their contractual obligations.

8. Reviews

  • Reviews may only be submitted by Buyers after a contract has been completed (closed).
  • Reviews must be honest, factual, and based on genuine experience.
  • YouToMe reserves the right to remove reviews that violate these Terms.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • YouToMe acts as an intermediary platform and does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of products or services offered by Suppliers.
  • YouToMe is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from transactions between Users.
  • The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, except where required by applicable EU consumer protection law.

10. Account Suspension and Termination

  • YouToMe may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or are inactive for an extended period.
  • Users may delete their account by contacting [email protected]. Account deletion is subject to the data retention periods described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Modifications to Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the member state where the Platform operator is established.
  • For consumers within the EU, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply.
  • The European Commission provides an Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
  • Any disputes that cannot be resolved amicably shall be submitted to the competent courts in accordance with applicable EU rules on jurisdiction.
